Sustainably Chic: Formal Funwear

Welcome to Sustianably Chic, a series where we put fashionable outfits together based on entirely sustainable and eco-friendly brands. This Wednesday, we’re looking at fancier clothing for a dressier occasion. So whether it’s a date, a dance, or new year new you fun, we’ve got two outfits to make sure your eco-friendly while dressing up. Enjoy!

Bag 1: Michelle Upcycled Leather Handbag

This classic bag was bound to make the list. A perfect bag that combines everyday functionality with bosslady power vibes, this three pocket bag is one of the easiest to dress up or down as you please.

Outfit 1

Camisole: Kent Woman KAM Organic Silk Camisole

Jeans: Everlane Women's High Rise Straight Jeans

Jacket: Citizens Mark Geneva Luxe fit Black

Shoes: Matisse Footwear Pronto Boots

Bracelet: Made UK (note: the link to their Facebook page as their website seems to be experiencing technical difficulties)

For this outfit we wanted a business look that combines classy with a little sultry. Silk camisole under a black blazer is a timeless minimalist look that’s perfect for any office party or other holiday get together. To add that touch of shine, we’ve included a gold bangle and a gorgeous little ankle boot with a unique cutout pattern.

Bag 2: Frida Upcycled Leather Weekender

The second bag we picked a weekend bag like no other. Genuine leather, braided handle, and enough room to hold everything you need for a retreat plus more, show up in style wherever you go.

Outfit 2

Shoe: Poppy Barley Riversdale Boot

Dress: The Reformation Vivianne Dress

Jacket: Cuyana Wool Cashmere Coat https://www.cuyana.com/wool-cashmere-short-wrap-coat.html#beige

Earrings: 31 Bits Geo Assembly Drop Earrings

For the outfit we wanted to drop jaws. A wool cashmere coat from one of the few companies doing ethical cashmere drapes over an absolutely stunning reformation dress. Knee length boots from Poppy Barley and statement earrings from 31 bits adds the finishing touches to an amazing look.
