Sustainably Chic: Fun with Faux

Welcome to Sustianably Chic, a series where we put fashionable outfits together based on entirely sustainable and eco-friendly brands. This week we’re having a little fun with the possibilities of animal-free and cruelty-free clothing brands, so we’re looking at outfits based around faux fur and faux leather. Without further ado, here is our vegan fashion extraordinaire!

Bag 1: Boho - Tan Suede

The first bag is a vegan suede hobo bag that combines elegance with ease. The inner clip maintains the shapeliness of the bag and the wonderful texture and neutral color will make it easy and fun to pair with many outfits.

For the first outfit, we put together a tough and feminine look to show off your vegan leather shine. The jacket is from James and Co who specialize in making high quality looks with environmentally friendly vegan leathers. Underneath it we added the gorgeous Valentin dress from Reformation, plus camel colored ankle boots from Beyond Skin. Hoops complete this fantastic fall weather look.

Earring: Kind Jewelry Gold Demi-Lune

Bag 2: Vogue - Mustard Vegan Leather

For the second outfit we have an upcycled vegan leather hobo bag. Yellow can sometimes feel like a tricky color to pull off but it is always worth it when you do, and the spacious interior will ensure you are prepared with everything you need to conquer the day.

Outfit 2

For the outfit we start off with an absolutely stunning faux fur coat from Stella McCartney that’s thick, warm, and as eco-friendly as it is fashionable. We found a great little blouse by Thought company to play off of the bag’s color, and we rounded out the look with some everlane jeans, earring and beyond skin black booties.

Boots: Beyond Skin Lulu Black Smooth Kitten Heel
Jeans: Everlane Authentic Stretch High Rise Skinny
